My name is Marie Benassi. I founded Cornerstone Support Services as a result of my life time commitment to the belief in family, community and helping others.
At a very early age, I demonstrated a strong conviction to helping others especially those who were marginalized. My commitment to others led me to an education in Social Work graduating and working for 35 years in a variety of human service organizations. This professional experience along with many personal experience of caring for loved ones, gave me a very real understanding of the importance of having quality supports available to families during these difficult times.
My greatest reward is the ability to make a real difference, to understand fully my clients and their families concerns and to respond to them in a unique and individualized approach. I realized that when the individual and family are supported as a whole, everyone’s needs, concerns and fears are addressed while still maintaining a safe environment and peace of mind for all. I understand the importance of home and community and the need to feel like an included and participating member throughout our lives.
Compassionate care, understanding and a strong commitment to family is what differentiates the services provided by Cornerstone Support Services.
